What it is
Creating an event shouldn't feel like filling out a form. Tell the assistant what you have in mind — “a sunset rooftop birthday for 20 next Friday” — and it drafts the whole thing for you.
The assistant lives right inside event creation, so its suggestions land directly in the form where you can tweak anything before you save.
How it works

Open the assistant
In Create Event, tap “Ask AI” and describe the event you want in your own words.

AI drafts the details
It proposes a title, description, date and time, location, and capacity — and can even generate a cover image — all pre-filled into the form.

You stay in control
Nothing is created until you review it. Edit any field the assistant suggested, then save when it looks right.
Your privacy, protected
- To draft your event, the assistant uses what you type, the event details you’re building, and your friends’ names plus their aggregated availability (free/busy percentages only). It never receives your connected Google or Apple calendar events, and never sees anyone else’s event titles, guests, or locations.
- These features run on a trusted third-party AI provider that doesn’t train its models on your data. Anything we use to improve our own features is anonymized first — and your connected calendar is never part of it.
Nobody ever sees your calendar — only whether you’re free or busy
Across every MyOwnEvents feature, your event titles, your guests, and your locations stay private. When we help you and your friends find a time, others see only whether you are free or busy — never the event details behind it. Your raw calendar events are never sold, never used for ads, and never sent to AI. Our scheduling assistant uses only the overall picture (like how many invitees are free at a given time) to suggest times — and that is never used to train AI models.
