Recurring Events

Set it once — your weekly game night runs itself.

The recurrence options when creating an event — daily, weekly, monthly, custom
Create Event → repeat settings: daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom cadence

What it is

For the things you do on a schedule — weekly trivia, monthly book club, a standing Sunday hike — create the event once and let it repeat. No re-entering the same details every week.

Need to move just next week’s, or change the whole series? You choose the scope every time you edit, so one tweak never throws off the rest.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a repeat pattern

Daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom cadence — set it right when you create the event.

  2. 2

    It fills your calendar

Every occurrence appears automatically, each with its own RSVPs, guest list, and tickets.

  3. 3

    Edit one or all

Move or update just one date, or apply the change to the whole series — you decide the scope.

Your privacy, protected

  • Every occurrence is tracked separately — RSVPs, tickets, and edits to one date never spill over into another.
  • The same privacy guarantees apply to every occurrence: guests only ever see free/busy and the public attendee count, never your calendar.

Nobody ever sees your calendar — only whether you’re free or busy

Across every MyOwnEvents feature, your event titles, your guests, and your locations stay private. When we help you and your friends find a time, others see only whether you are free or busy — never the event details behind it. Your raw calendar events are never sold, never used for ads, and never sent to AI. Our scheduling assistant uses only the overall picture (like how many invitees are free at a given time) to suggest times — and that is never used to train AI models.
